Hannah has lived in Monsoon Valley her whole life with her family, the Nightingales. The Nightingales have been in Monsoon Valley ever since they came over from England in the 1600s. They moved to the valley when it was only wilderness and made a home for themselves. Other people eventually came, but Monsoon Valley remained small and horse-oriented.

Hannah has always had her family, and she's also always had her horse. She and her horse have been together ever since Hannah decided she wanted to be an Olympic contender. Kristy, her younger sister, also always loved horses, but had broken her leg at one point. It scared the whole family, but, thankfully, Kristy recovered.

When Hannah was a freshman in high school, she met two boys. One at school, the other at an international competition. The international one was a Frenchman named Lestat de Lioncourt. They hit it off immediately as fast friends and remain in touch to this day. The one at school was named Darren. Darren was a junior, and began to show interest in Hannah. She was ecstatic, him being amazingly attractive and, come on, an upperclassman. Darren and Hannah started dating. It was practically like a fairy tale for her. Darren loved her, what could be better? Unfortunately, though, Darren wanted a lot more than what Hannah wanted to give. One night he tried to take it. None too gently, either. Just barely, Hannah managed to get away and run. Out of fear, she never told anyone what happened. Because of it, though, she began to come alive. It lit a spark in her that hasn't died, and she became just as popular as he was, and did it all without ever dating again. The most consistent man in her life, aside from her father and brothers, was Lestat. She called him all the time and whenever she was on the Internet she always managed to contact him, whether he was on or not. He's her best guy friend.

Now Hannah is going to an online college, continuing to contact Lestat, and staying true to herself.

Personality:

Hannah is very stubborn and willful. No one can tell her what to do unless she wants them too. Hannah is vicious to guys who want to date her. She's very good at dissecting guys. She's very wild, fiery, cheeky, and fun. It's hard not to like her, despite her shortcomings. She loves to read, but she's definitely not a nerd, even though she is very smart. Hannah has some really good friends, but guys have trouble not having thoughts about her they really shouldn't. Lestat is her only really close guy friend.
