History:
Bullet was born on a small farm, originally bred to be a stock horse, rounding up cattle and such. Once he turned two, and his owners started to train him, it was discovered he had a fear of cows. When forced to go within ten metres of a cow he would buck and root around, eventually succeeding to throw the rider off, and bolt.Personality:
He was sold to the knackery as dog meat. A young girl and her family were at the time rescuing promising horses from the factory, and taking them home to train. The father trained Bullet how to jump, and the young girl rode him almost everyday.
There came a time, after a few years, that the girl lost interest in riding, and moved on to boys and makeup, all that jazz. For a month or two Bullet roamed the paddock, only getting attention when one of the kind stable-hands came down to him.
Finally the father decided to sell Bullet, and Kristy was the fortunate receiver. For the previous six months she has been training him up to physical and mental toughness, and has now started to ride him in competitions, winning more blue ribbons than before, than when she rode on her leased mount.
Bullet is one of those 'perfect' horses, at least to Kristy, he is. He is well mannered and calm, and very sensitive to the pull of a rein, and obeys commands, trusting Kristy to the extreme. He loves to jump and cantering is his 'favourite' gait.Have you read all of the rules?: No
Bullet is, however, as mentioned before, extremely afraid of cows. The moo of a cow can cause him to tremble, and the sight of one makes him bolt.
He isn't affected by signs with cows on them, or anything like that, though. Kristy has to be careful when on the trails, in case they run past cattle farms.
He is also very senstivie to punishment, growing agitated and bitey if someone yells at him. Not that anyone on his home farm does, but you never know..
